About this event
On 10 April, Espacio Arte21 presents "Genius Loci. Dialectic of the Inner and the Outer," a group exhibition featuring nine artists whose figurative practice values slowness, introspection, and technical depth in an age shaped by immediacy. The project traces works that examine the links between memory, identity, and contemporary experience. At its core is the idea that every act of figuration evokes a spirit of place, a genius loci that turns the visible into an inner experience. As the curatorial text notes, figuration acts as a reverie, a daydream that connects the inner and the outer. From this starting point, the selected works show how everyday life can gain symbolic weight and how representation becomes a form of presence. Artists: Eduardo Serrano, Guillem Aznar, Mirian Antón, Paco Cachadas, Pablo Pérez, Salvador Conesa, Enrique Zabala, Sara Madrid, and Torregar. Exhibition details: Espacio Arte21, C/ Guillem de Castro 3, 2, 46007, Valencia. Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10 am to 2 pm and 4:30 pm to 8 pm.
