The Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània (CCCC) presents Letra y compás, the latest exhibition by National Photography Prize winner Chema Madoz. The show brings together 50 photographs and explores, for the first time in his work, the connection between music and books. Through his characteristic visual poetry, Madoz transforms everyday objects into unexpected forms, often with surreal references, creating images that move between fantasy, harmony and beauty. The exhibition also reflects his long-standing interest in literature and his collaborations with writers and publishers. The installation itself is conceived as a musical score, with the works arranged like notes across a large staff, reinforcing the dialogue between image, rhythm and language.
