A group exhibition featuring Diego Kohli (Madrid, 1991), Javier Palacios (Jerez, 1995), Lucía Cassiraga (Valencia, 1999), and Rafael Chacón (Seville, 1965). "Secreto Maravilla" is presented as a short essay on how contemporary art is shifting toward new ways of seeing. Rather than the academic figurative tradition, post-Internet imagery, or extreme material hybridization, the exhibition points to artists who work from dreamlike, expressive, and at times surreal perspectives. Their carefully made images move away from the visual language of screens and digital effects and toward other mental landscapes, using sensitive figuration to evoke unease, recurring dreams, and the strange detail. The four artists included here share a vision that looks beyond reality in order to reveal its hidden mysteries, suggesting one of art’s essential tasks.
