About

About this event

This collective project explores affective bonds between women through contemporary art. The exhibition brings together works by 19 artists and traces a path across photography, painting, installation, audiovisual work, sculpture, ceramics, and textile practices to address themes such as desire, friendship, complicity, affective genealogies, and shared forms of care. It examines affinities and tensions between women through contemporary artistic practices in dialogue with experience, memory, and emotional lineages. The exhibition is structured around several resonant frameworks, including "In illo tempore" (in another time), the lesbian continuum, invisibility, and specific difference, which open up spaces where stories, times, and bodies intersect. The works on view explore sensitive, experiential territories where vulnerability and strength coexist. Through images, objects, and varied materials, the project builds a landscape of affect that challenges heteronormative narratives and recovers histories, bonds, and stories left outside the dominant historical account. Artists featured include Nucbeade, Marta Galindo, O.R.G.I.A, Yera Moreno, Hanna Jarzabek, Andrea Rodríguez, Núria Martínez Seguer, Olalla Gómez Valdericeda, Mercedes Azpilicueta, Isabel Martín and Paula Yubero, Laia Arqueros, Isabel Cordovil, BajoRufián, and Sara Mono.
