About

About this event

For the past nine years, the Territorial College of Architects (CTAV) has been documenting the innovative contribution architecture makes to the Falles monument. This exhibition pays tribute to fire through architecture and follows that idea beyond Valencia, showing how the same spirit reached the Nevada desert in summer 2025. It presents Miguel Arraiz and his team at work on the Burning Man Temple and frames the festival as a social experiment and a temporary utopia. The Temple stands at the center of an ephemeral city of 70,000 people and, like the Falles, exists only for a few days before being destroyed by fire. The CTAV and the Centre del Carme Cultura Contemporània (CCCC) are collaborating on the project, with parallel exhibitions and shared content and discussion, complemented by a guided visit to Falles Experimentals on 16 March.
