About

About this event

This exhibition examines how decisions, routines and large-scale policies produce consequences that extend far beyond their immediate context. From corporate power and global conflict to everyday consumption in wealthier societies, it traces the visible and hidden effects of capitalism on inequality, environmental damage and social vulnerability. Presented in the context of International Women’s Day, the project also highlights how these systems disproportionately affect women and marginalized communities, especially in supply chains, conflict zones and areas exposed to climate crisis. Rather than offering only criticism, the exhibition creates a space for reflection on personal responsibility, collective interdependence and the possibility of change through everyday action. Through a symbolic visual language, Silvia Viana links individual choices to broader structures of power and argues for a more critical, ethical and inclusive understanding of social transformation.
