Pablo Kalafaker is an artist and designer trained in fine arts at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a specialization in woodcut and graphic arts. His practice began in the visual arts, where he explored object-based art, installation, and performance before expanding into textile-related languages in fashion and experimental processes. His work is grounded in material research that brings together woodcut, collage, painting, and stencil techniques to create compositions with a strong graphic presence. Collage is a central element in his recent production, building layers, textures, and visual fragments that move between painting and graphic art. Through manual and experimental processes, he develops a visual world shaped by accumulation, intervention, and ongoing exploration of matter. The exhibition can be visited from June to September 2026 at La Xirgu (C/ dels Borges, 4), in Valencia’s Carmen district, a venue known for combining gastronomy, exhibitions, and cultural programming within one of the city’s most active art circuits.
